Damnation: The Cynos Project

So today, in the expanse of nothingness came a pleasant, opposite of a surprise. I stress the point as nothing is a surprise when you refresh a tracking page 1,234,888 times in the last 2 weeks to update oneself to the progress of an upcoming package. So. Here it is.

It is only the most gargantuan Intercooler. Evar.


Srsly, it's massive. And so heavy -_-

It's also as big as my room. Or a whale. Infact.
So, an intercooler as big as the car, a GReddy unit to be precise, obviously warranted the finger seizures. Well, yes, as it forms part of turbocharger kit number 5, so it's size should create some illusions of grandeur, if to me at least. That by the way, is still in customs, a week on. Perhaps some sneaky little Malaysian girl snuck into the package on transit. Figures.

So, after crying to Sammy about the unwanted weight gain, and simultaneously being ignored by said cat, it was fairly obvious that in its installation, serious issues will be abound, on a rough measuring up against the current issue item..

Ya rly. All notions of pushing it against the front radiator structure to reduce polar masses are quashed by the fact that the intercooler does not fit between the headlights. Hmph.

No. I don't think before I buy. I just throw more money at it till it works. Which is what I shall do ^_^. Despite the weight >_<

Oh, and what's in that other box? You'll have to wait and see. Though. It's going to be as shallow of foundation as the rest of what I do ^_^.
