What you see there, is apparently an HRF Intake Manifold, as supplied by HRF with their total kit of wins. This one is apparently a bit more special. Well, by special it largely depends on what excites you, I don't get starstruck for example. However:
The manifold purportedly comes from THAT very car [You get a good view of it at 4:49]. Apparently a gentleman in Ireland had caught wind from his Vehicle Shop friend that he had taken delivery of the engine from said car, and he got given the manifold. Regardless, not important, and more JDMwins kkthx. On quick observation, it's a very simple cylindrical manifold using the stock, very short, runners, with a giant Nissan 67mm opening (so probably 62mm throat) throttlebody. As pictured:
Is there any conceivable reason that I need it? No. I actually got it because I felt like it, as the high-rpm setup this would suit isn't really what I am chasing. However, in the interests of testing and finding out such theories with fact, I thought I would take it upon myself to verify the effectiveness of this manifold, you know, to just throw money where it doesn't really need throwing. It also weighs nothing, so if I get bored again - a dangerous situation - I may convince myself the 2g it saves against the ACIS will be worth it.
In other news, that festering nub of debt, has finally relinquished the money that was owed to me, after a ball-separating [Again, refer to previous post] 50 weeks.
Which has allowed me to pay for Turbo kit number 5.
And something for the Cefiro.
None of it necessary.
